African Dream Academy Celebrates Twelfth Career Day Program
The African Dream Academy celebrated it's twelfth career day program. The program was meant to encourage and educate students on choosing a career path based on their passion and academic potential. Career day is celebrated every year as part of the school's custom. The guest speaker for this year’s career day celebration, Dr. Dike Fehlix, spoke on the topic: Career Choices for Students at Higher Institutions. During his exposition, Dr. Fehlix, encouraged students of the African Dream Academy to be passionate about their career and apply more efforts to their studies if they want to achieve the career they have chosen. The guest speaker also encouraged teachers to take advantage of opportunities to advance themselves in their fields of study. At the same time the senior counselor, Mrs. Nehemattu Wankollie, spoke to the students on the effects of drugs and substance abuse. She said that the constant abuse of drugs and other harmful substances will only lead a person to self-destruction. Mrs. Wankollie used the time to discourage students from engaging in activities that will lead to negative results. Meanwhile, she said her office remains open to everyone including students and teachers who need advice or counsel on critical matters.
